great instructor-for online training programs |

i have never meet joe in
person but i have had great results with his
online trainig programs.being over 50 with shoulder
tendonitis,joe wrote the perfect program for me.short-frequent-hard
with alot of great exercises for my shoulder the result-i'm
pressing the the 70lb bell for reps!!not bad for a guy
pushing 60!!when i had questions joe
would e-mail me right away which kept my progress going.
what also impressed me with joe's programs is he can write
them for any level and age group.how many guys have you seen
write programs for the over forty crowd?a great online
instructor who can meet the needs of any age group or any
level training!!

I've been working with
Joe over the past year and I want to tell you he knows his
stuff. Not only is he a great trainer, he lives it, as
evidenced by staying ripped year round (at age 43) and
continuing to push the upper echelon in the kettlebell
strength circles..188 snatch reps, TGUs with the Beast etc.
and of course juggling with the Beast as well!
Joe has a way of bringing out the best in you without any
pretenses or intimidation. He not only has the patience (he
has a wife and 2 kids!) but also the persistence to get you
to the next level. I would highly recommend him - Joe is the
real deal!

Joe Pavel's articles are
easy to read and understand.They inspire you to to get
stronger and leaner and you can see the results in few
sessions.Though, i find some of his routines are brutal you
can still adapt the same to your own energy levels and still
improve. My core is getting stronger which is my main
concern now.
Thanks for your articles and keep on writing.Inspiring
people to improve is a positive karma in your favour.

Joe was one of my instructors at the June 2007 RKC. He was very
helpful in refining techniques. I think Joe's best quality is
knowing what not to say; many instructors make things too
complicated with way too many instructions, but Joe is straight
to the point. Great teacher

I
was very lucky to have Joe as one on my instructors for the June
RKC. He was so patient and took time with each person to make
sure everyone had the appropriate form and felt comfortable with
each move. He has a tremendous amount of knowledge and a very
positive attitude. He is a great teacher!

Joe's laid back, but HIGHLY effective teaching style was second
to none. He helped bring my knowledge and technique of
kettlebells to a higher place! He was to the point with his

Joe was the assistant instructor for my team at the June RKC. He
showed his experience and knowledge by observing first and then
commenting second. He helped me work at one thing at a time
rather then confusing me with too much at once.
Knowledge is one thing but being able to communicate is the sign
of a good instructor. Joe has both.

I
had the privledge working with Joe as I was completing my
kettlebell certification. He was extremely helpful and positive
in everyway. His instruction was second to none. He demonstrated
perfect form and critiqued accordingly. As the weekend went on,
I realized how priveldged I was to have been in his group.
He has a mild manner that enables you to soke up everything he
has to say. Joe is truly an elite instructor and not to be
overlooked. I encourage you to train with Joe and like his
slogan says, "Enjoy the kettlebell difference".

I
would like to thank Joe for the knowledge he shared with me over
the June07 RKC. He is a excellent teacher and made me feel like
I was part of a big family. Rather then making things more
complicated he observed, listened and showed us very simple
points which has seen my Kettlebell practise improve 100%. Thank

Bull Simple Simply WORKS!! |

After reading Joe Pavel's article on his aptly named "Bull
Simple" regimen, I immediately incorporated it into my already
brutal program in preparation for the September 2007 RKC
certification weekend.
The program lived up to its namesake: simple, yet highly
effective. The hallmark of a legitimate RKC!
Not only did the program push us beyond our known limits, it
delivered the goods beyond our expectations.
My training partner's snatch requirements was 56 reps. Prior to
Bull Simple, his best number was 44, for both hands.
After incorporating Bull Simple, he achieved a PR for the snatch
at the RKC weekend: 45 snatches...ON HIS RIGHT ARM ALONE!!
Needless to say, he made his requirements, with tons to spare.
All thanks to Mr. Joe Pavel's ingeniously simple regimen.
Yours truly passed as well (made 65 reps, 1 rep over the
requirement, with tons to spare).
For simplicity that delivers, Joe Pavel is your RKC!

WOW! A True Blessing to have met Joe, his Willingness to INVEST
in you, and your Success. I have been working with Joe Privately
and in a 2 Person Class since 2006. Joe goes above and Beyond to
explaining how to meet your Goals through Kettle Bell Training.
I came to Joe in regards to Weight Loss. He put together a
Program for me tailored to my Goals, pushed me every step of the
way, and with a Sense of Humor to Boost! I enjoyed every
Training Session, and Greatly Appreciated his Words of
Encouragement! He makes you feel at ease, but puts you through a
Tough Workout! I look forward to starting another set of
Sessions to combat the Holiday Feasts that come throughout the
year. Thanks Joe, for sharing your SKILLS with me, and working
with me at my Level. I will never forget the "TEAR" Session!

My son and I had a series of kettlebell classes from Joe. He
is an excellent instructor. Joe is very good at showing you
warm-up exercises, the correct way to perform various
kettlebell sequences and finishes with a cool down routine.
He strongly emphasizes safety in all the various movements.
The classes were very informative and the direct instruction
was tremendously effective. Joe was a great help to a couple
of novices!
Joe is dedicated to fitness in general and very
knowledgeable in kettlebells. My son and I are now in the
process of incorporating what we learned into a regular
exercise regimen and will return for additional instruction.

I
was under Joe's instruction during the RKC of April 2009. What a
cool person. Never was I confused with too much instruction but
rather relaxed. Joe is easy to talk to and a kind individual.
Made the RKC an enjoyable experience and a very memorable one.
Hopefully I will have the pleasure to run into Joe again at
another workshop.

had the fortune of having Joe as an Assistant RKC during my RKC
weekend in St. Paul this last April. His attention to detail,
patience, and heartfelt encouragement helped me pass my biggest
challenge to date. He is truly an asset to the program! If you
are in Twin Cities you are sitting on a gold mine of kettlebell

I
attended the RKC certification April 2009 in St Paul, MN.It was
a very fulfilling 3 days. I had prepared for 18 months and it
paid off . I passed !
Joe Pavel was one of my assistant instructors for the weekend. I
found Joe to be very helpful catching any little improvements I
could make in my movements. Also he was there to answer any
questions I might have at all times. Thank you Joe for
contributing to my on going education and practice for permanent
perfection .

Joe was one of my assistant instructors at the April 2009 RKC
Cert. He was very helpful in answering my questions and
adjusting technique as it was related to different KB exercises.
He has an eye for perfection in all KB movements. On top of that
he helped our entire group get going in the morning with zhealth
warm-ups that made the joints feel great, even after we did 1000
swings on day 1. If you are looking to get involved with KB or
have some aches and pains that your tired of dealing with call
Joe Pavel. He'll get you in the best shape of your life, with
the best tool in fitness - a kettlebell and have you moving
without pain in no time with some simple zhealth drills. Like I
said, Joe knows. Call him and get started today.

RKC. It was a grueling weekend but Joe was able to help me keep

As the Physical Fitness/Health
Coordinator for the City of
St. Paul Police Department, I am always looking for new ways
to challenge our officers to be fit. After attending an
introduction to kettlebell training at a local college, I
knew kettlebells would be a great way for our officers to
get and stay fit.
I met Joe Pavel and we brought him in to hold classes for
our officers. He is an excellent instructor, very patient
with people new to kettlebells and thorough in his
instruction. He is very knowledgeable. and I would

I
am a JKD/MMA coach in NJ. Just wanted to let you know that the "Bull
Simple" program that you designed is absolutely fantastic! I tried it
for the first time last week, and it's just dynamite for fight
training.
As
a JKD/MMA coach, I'm mostly concerned about training programs that
cross-over effectively and immediately into fight performance. I
think this program is one of the most effective programs for bringing
a fighter into a high level of conditioning in a short period of
time. It's brutal, just the way I like it.

Wow! What a workout!
(Kettlebells). I have found
this to be the best full body workout that works in my busy schedule.
The results are seen within weeks, which kept me motivated. The
instructor Joe Pavel is excellent and a wealth of information on fitness
and Kettlebell training. He keeps me focused and motivated. He is
willing to work with your busy schedules and workout with you. I would

1st Session of Boot Camp Express was
a blast!
Joe made it fun and beneficial. It amazed me what a workout you can get
in 35 minutes with only some hand weights, a jump rope and a bottle of
water. It was the perfect amount of time to fit into my schedule and
doubled as a great stress reliever. Not only did we workout but I also
got a lot of information about how important technique and form really
are and how you can cheat yourself and your workout by not having it. I

I started kettlebell training back in July and I am
hooked on these things.
I used to run and cycle, but
now as far as training I just use the kettlebells.
I never have really done any
strength training, I'm 58, and can't believe what I was missing!
I spent many hours running and
cycling and the amazing thing to me is what can be accomplished in such
a short period of time with these things.
As an endurance athlete I have
been used to just keeping it going for 1-4 hrs per workout. (I always
thought there had to be a better way!)
I want to continue to gain
strength, but keeping my heart healthy and my cholesterol ratios low is
important.
I will say this; there has
been a vast improvement in my overall energy since working with
kettlebells.
If you have any insights you
wish to share I am really anxious to learn.
